MEET OUR FOUNDER
 John
Peterson has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate
investment and sales. Over the past 12 years,
John has purchased, renovated and sold more than 500 properties
in the D.C. area.
- An expert in the acquisition of distressed
property, he has raised millions of dollars
in private capital.
- His projects range in scope from single
family houses for the first time home
buyer to multi-unit condominium conversions.
To help his company grow, John Peterson formed
ProfitableProperty in 2001 to leverage the local knowledge,
experience, capital and other resources only he can provide.
- Through ProfitableProperty, John has been able
to share his knowledge and expertise with hundreds
of real estate entrepreneurs.
- The program led by John supports participants throughout
their real estate investing experience, providing ongoing
access to his investment guidance plus financing opportunities,
helpful resources and continuing education.
John is President of the Washington Real Estate
Investors Association Network. This 500-member
investment club, which meets twice a month, fosters continuing
education, resource sharing and networking among local real
estate investors.
For the past two years, John has hosted a weekly
radio program on real estate investing in the D.C. area.
The program airs Tuesdays at 12 noon on WOL-1450 AM.
A licensed Realtor in Maryland and Virginia,
John also served as a Landlord Representative on the Montgomery
County Commission on Landlord–Tenant Affairs.
